Flag Day Run
by PJ
Even though it started out as a VERY WET morning, I had the honor of riding over the Dumbo Bridge to a Dry and partially sunny day with some die hard Fremont Hog riders. We met at Dennys to have Reed lead us over to meet with the San Mateo HOG for their annual Flag Day Run. Scott was the sweeper as we did a breast stroke down the freeway and by the time we hit the toll plaza, warm weather was there to greet us.
The turn out was slightly down, but we still managed to create havoc on a sat. morning commute for a whole lotta cages on 101, 92 & 280 as California's finest cleared a path and held traffic for us.
I was sweep for the escort ride and I tell ya, there aint nothin' like a couple of hundred Harley tail lites.....with no traffic to be bothered with.
Reed, Scott, thanks for the memories.
